Someone told me that when opposites attract, it’s a good thing, but not in the long run. Apparently, psychologists argue that in the end, it’s all about companionship. So does this mean that when a person has completely different attributes to his/her partner, they’re not going to last? I guess it depends on personal experiences.

I do strongly believe that every person in this world, no matter how much they have in common, are still different in every way possible, and that’s what makes a strong relationship. There’s always a balance in life. Good and evil, ups and downs, left and right… There’s always a balance, and that’s how “things” happen, doesn’t it? It just makes it more interesting, I guess. If, for example, you and your partner are both very short-tempered people and suddenly get involved in a huge argument, your relationship can be blown up into little pieces. Or if you both have the same interests like music, movies, food, whatever… doesn’t the relationship get a bit boring afterwards? So how exactly does “opposites attract, but not in the long run” theory work? Isn’t it more interesting to have different tastes, interests and occasional debates to have good companionship?

I suppose it depends on personality as well. I, for one, loves constant little arguments in a relationship. But that’s just me, a stubborn, self-righteous fool who thinks you wrong and I’m always right. If you argue with me, that means you’ve got a different opinion, and I like to listen to that opinion. If you don’t argue, but agree with me instead and just let me go on with my rantings, then you’re boring. And our relationship is boring. So tell me why can’t opposites attract in the long run again???

Damn, i’m so deepax, man. I’m gonna end this by telling you I’m not sure if anything in this post makes any sense at all. Hahah… I was on a roll there, huh? =p

My guests decided to stay longer and we had a good little celebratory dinner just now. It was kinda ‘nazar’ for passing my exams and i’m just glad that i could share the victory with the nomads.

Tommorrow is the big day for the Reds. Champs League starts again. We’re gonna go up against Barca at the Nou Camp. All the best to the Reds!!…

1. The exam results are out and i still cant access my Spider web. Its my Uni account and i had to run around uni yesterday trying to fix it. To top it all off i had to walk 9 miles before that for the Bridgewater Canal project. Overall, i think i walked a good 15 miles yesterday. I’m not gonna deny, i feel abit tense waiting for the result. I cant help it ok..i just wanna pass my exams…

2. Hell broke loose over a hair-band between the 3 nomads just now. It was so tense like they’re about to hit each other with clubs. Me being an outsider has deduced this as merely a small matter. But then again, one of the nomads mentioned to me that its all about ‘belongings’. Well its not about cars or a freaking ipod movie for crying out loud…its about a freaking hair band!…hahahahaha

My team is playing against Barca next week at the Nou Camp. the 98k capacity stadium is going to witness a game thats going to be one of the best in the champs league. All the best to The Reds and hope we can make it through to the final.

And as for my results…Insya Allah…i can make it…:) Amin!

The best part about today is the mug I bought at the one-pound shop. Really vibrant retro colors; red, blue, yellow, white and black…She’s sitting at the corner of the room – bored – hoping the guy fiddling with the laptop would notice her. Man, that’s deep.

Stupid “Cotton-Eye Joe” song by Rednex. I’m telling you, I was going through a phase, dammit. I just found out that it was a one-hit wonder back in the cringy ’90s. So yeah, I wasn’t the only bastard who actually liked that song. It was a ONE-HIT WONDER, for God’s sake, so people must’ve liked it!!! I wonder why, though. That song is nasty…Especially the chorus…

Me and my good buddy used to make jokes about who’s gonna be the last guy to get married. The name of the game is “Last Man Standing” and i think if i’m not mistaken the winner will get to go for honeymoon, all expenses paid…good enough price i reckoned. We’ll just have to see about it eh..buddy! hahaha

Another cold day here in Liverpool. It was snowing the other day but it was only a mild snow…and the feeling of looking at the ground covered with ice was great…considering i havent seen or experienced snow before in my life…kira jakun lah..but i have to look professional tho…not to give out the jakun look on my face…hahahaha…

I managed to get the keropok ubi and a few packets of cheezels sent especially all the way from Brunei…thank you mom and dad…you guys have always been my life savers…truly in debted…but then again….im always going to be in debted to them for bringing me to this world….bless them…hehehehe

Off to shower now…

Anyway, today i finished my 20% personal coursework in one sitting. The coursework was supposed to be handed in on the 12th of March. Now talk about efficiency. To tell you honestly, i just wanted to get it out of the way really before more work comes in. Called dad last night cos it was his birthday. OK, im not bragging but for a 67 years old guy, he looks like he’s 57, ten years younger man…hehehe…well thats my dad. I seriously think its the upbringing. I remembered he told me when he was younger, he used to iron his own stuff and wont let anybody touch his belongings. Not because he’s stingy or anything like that, its just that he doesnt like lines on his pants and shirts…hehehe..he’s a good looking guy. And until now, he wont allow our maid to iron his stuff…cos he’s quite particular with his lines…hahaha

And lastly, i apologize for not putting my thoughts in here lately, been extra busy with work and all and some of my thoughts were just crap ones…so yea….

Anyway, just got back from london. Sent to Hot Mama home, back to brunei for good. Damn i envy her. The fact that she’s enjoying the sunny side of the world with family and friends…makes me feel homesick…Good thing i foresaw that im gonna be extremely busy over the next coupla weeks…or months ahead. In no time, it’ll be ovaaaa soon…insya Allah…:)
